To guarantee a long lasting life and a neat look to your new flooring, clean up rapidly any stain or spill.

• Move your heavy furniture by using a plywood panel laid on the floor to disperse the weight. Never use casters on vinyl as they can damage the surface.
• Use doormats at entrances.
• Check the soles of your footwear, especially high heels, to ensure that they won't mark the floor. Shoe dents are particularly persistent and hard to remove.
• Protect your vinyl flooring from direct sunlight by drawing curtains and blinds at peak sun time.
• Vacuum or sweep regularly to remove dust and dirt. Do not use the vacuum's beater bar.
• Sponge up rapidly any spill. Wipe the excess liquid with a clean, white, dampened cloth.
• Use a cleaner recommended by the manufacturer and a damp mop to wash your floor. Clean thoroughly once dirt is dissolved to prevent the floor becoming sticky.
• Do not use dish detergent, water and vinegar solution, an abrasive cleaner or a cleaner containing solvent as they leave a dull film on the floor.
